This station
uses a Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 for local data.
The station console feeds a dedicated netbook which processes
the information, integrates it with other data, and generates
this page as well as others. The station can (barely)
be seen in the background of the weathercam image.
Stations
in the MesoMap are selected for accuracy and reliability,
and their data is updated periodically from Weather
Underground. For immediate regional weather data, see
this Mesodata
WunderMap.

information:
The numbers
in colored squares are recent observations of temperature
at weather stations. The color is a visual indication of
the value, as in other displays on this page. Hover your
cursor over a number to display the station identification,
location, and other current data; click on the square to
go to that stations's web page.
Note
on Observation, Forecast, and Warning times:
The content
on this page comes from a variety of sources and has been
collected over a period of time. Current conditions are
collected at this site and updated on a 30 minute schedule;
the sky conditions icon is based on weather at Oconee-Clemson
Airport, official weather station KCEU, roughly two miles
to the west. The 36 hour forecast for Clemson is updated
in every even hour if available at NWS. The NWS 5-day forecast
is updated here every 8 hours if available. NWS warnings
and advisories are updated every 30 minutes if available.
Airport conditions come from METAR data via NOAA. Local
radar is at most 30 minutes old; the IR satellite display
is a one hour loop. These graphics are provided by Weather
Underground. WU also maintains historical data for this
location and provides current information from official
and private weather stations for the MesoMap.
